Digital Assets: Not a Follower but a Pioneer in Digital Transformation
Digital Assets was established in response to the growing influence of digital media and plays a key role in driving the Group’s media companies’ online initiatives. In this context, Digital Assets develops projects that increase audience reach and engagement across the websites of the Group’s media brands, including Türkiye Newspaper, TGRT News, Türkiye Today, Türkiye’de İş Dünyası (“Turkish Business World”), and Mavi Kadın (“Blue Woman”). As the Türkiye Youth Platform, Genç TG continues to expand its reach with new brands such as XTG Spor for sports enthusiasts and IDA E-Sports for fans of competitive gaming. Going beyond traditional broadcasting in the e-sports arena, Digital Assets has also established its own team, IDA E-Sports, which competes in PUBG Mobile and other popular games, sharing the excitement of tournaments with its audience.

In 2024, Digital Assets made significant investments in technology by joining Yıldız Technical University Technopark and launching project-based initiatives. The first project focuses on developing a new infrastructure for the media group’s websites. This Technopark-approved, AI-powered CMS aims to build a system that eliminates external dependency and allows all our news outlets to benefit from cutting-edge technologies. By 2025, we plan to migrate all our news sites to this new system to boost user efficiency and minimize error rates with the support of artificial intelligence. This transition will help us optimize our operational processes and strengthen our technological foundation for the future.
Under the Digital Assets umbrella, we have redesigned and upgraded the system architecture for turkiyetoday.com, mavikadin.com, and turkiyedeisdunyasi. com. We have enhanced our CDN infrastructure with ByteDance’s services and added CDNetworks as a backup provider. Our data center is now located at Equinix, a world-class facility that meets the highest global standards. In the AI field, we have reduced external dependency by building closed-loop systems and utilizing GPU farming capabilities, as well as by deploying customized open-source models. For live TV broadcasting, we have established our own streaming infrastructure, making TGRT channels available on YouTube, the web, and mobile applications.
