Since its publication, Türkiye Newspaper, which has not changed its owner or principles, has welcomed its new year. The newspaper, founded by the late Dr. Enver Ören, continues to be the address for ‘accurate news, common sense, and peace’ for 54 years.

Türkiye Newspaper is experiencing the joy of another year full of success. With its exceptional position, unchanged owner, and publishing line, it continues to be the most stable publication in the media sector. Even during the most difficult times our country faced, our newspaper was a moral source that instilled confidence in society with its moderate publishing policy.

Starting its publication life on April 22, 1970, with modest economic means, despite the tough competitive conditions in the media sector, Türkiye Newspaper has successfully served the Turkish people for 54 years with a stable and quality broadcasting understanding. Named after our beautiful country and having not written a single line that offends the nation throughout its 54-year publication history, the newspaper’s slogan, bestowed by its readers, is: ‘The Newspaper That Gives Peace.’

Türkiye Newspaper’s principle is clear. It never chases provocative news, fights, or agitation. It is a newspaper that adults can comfortably offer to the younger ones. While one newspaper falls to every two people in developed countries, the total newspaper circulation does not reach one million in our country, which has a population exceeding 86 million. That means hardly one newspaper per 20 people. Being aware of this fact, we offer our people what they want: ‘Accurate news, common sense, and peace.’

For 54 years, like a school, it has offered countless scientific and cultural publication services. The select books, magazines, and encyclopedia volumes provided by our newspaper are now filling bookshelves in homes all over the country. CDs that accurately narrate the lives of great scholars and guide figures have become a different educational resource. The books, encyclopedias, magazines, and regional supplements published by Türkiye Newspaper are enough to create a library on their own.

Children who grew up with the Türkiye Çocuk magazine are now serving very important services everywhere and in every field in this country as qualified and equipped adults. The Türkiye Newspaper Calendar, year after year, is on the wall, on the desk of millions of our citizens; like a punctual guide, it is scheduling their time.

We once again remember with mercy and gratitude the founder of İhlas Holding, the late Dr. Enver Ören has who has contributed the most to the birth, growth, and journey of Türkiye Newspaper to its present day looking forward to our tomorrows, we promise to continue in the direction drawn by Dr. Enver Ören under the leadership of Ahmet Mücahid Ören, to serve the Turkish society better.
