Mehmet Halit Selçuk, born in 1944 in Niğde, completed his higher education at the Army War Academy and became a Captain. He took on various duties within the Armed Forces and retired in 1996 with the rank of Colonel.

He serves as an independent board member in İhlas Group companies.
