Strategic Visits by İhlas Holding in Kyrgyzstan

İhlas Holding, which continues its national and international activities in the fields of construction, energy, and infrastructure, is maintaining its efforts to strengthen economic and cultural ties with the friendly and brotherly country of Kyrgyzstan. In this context, İhlas Holding and Central Asia Investment Holding Chairman of the Board, Ahmet Mücahid Ören, visited the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, in the capital Bishkek.

During the meeting, opportunities for enhancing economic relations between the two countries were discussed, with a particular focus on potential cooperation in the energy and housing sectors.

President Japarov expressed his satisfaction with İhlas Holding’s interest in Kyrgyzstan, while Ahmet Mücahid Ören emphasized the historical and cultural ties of the region, stating that they are pleased to contribute to long-term partnerships.

Energy Projects on the Agenda

Information was shared about ongoing feasibility and planning processes for energy projects. The potential contributions of the Bishkek CHPP-2 Natural Gas Combined Cycle Power Plant and the Kazarman Hydroelectric Power Plant projects to Kyrgyzstan’s energy infrastructure were evaluated.

President Japarov highlighted the strategic importance of such initiatives in the energy sector for the country.

Assessment in the Housing Sector

The meeting also included a general assessment of potential mass housing projects that could be implemented in Kyrgyzstan in the near future. In line with İhlas Holding’s experience in housing development in Turkey, the possibility of developing similar projects in Kyrgyzstan was discussed. A preliminary framework for evaluating future cooperation opportunities was established.
