Ahmet Hamdi Atalay Attends Technology Meetings

The seventh edition of the Digital Transformation Technology Meetings, organized by İhlas Holding Information Technologies, took place. The guest speaker was TÜRKSAT General Manager Ahmet Hamdi Atalay.

The conference, held under the motto “Fast Future, Agile Transformation,” began with an opening speech by İhlas Holding Information Technologies Deputy General Manager Cüneyt Deliktaş. Deliktaş highlighted that the primary goal of these technology meetings is to bring managers and all employees together with information technologies and provide insights on the sectoral applications, benefits, and opportunities that these technologies offer. He also shared information about the importance of location and timing in digital transformation.

Following the opening, the guest speaker, TÜRKSAT General Manager Ahmet Hamdi Atalay, took the stage. He stated, “Investing in artificial intelligence solutions is no longer a choice but a necessity for companies. Missing out on this opportunity could be detrimental to future success. Artificial intelligence is a system that operates on data, and Turkey holds a significant advantage in this area.”

Atalay emphasized the impact of artificial intelligence on companies and stressed that the evolving business world must adapt to AI and digital transformation. He also pointed out that effective use of human resources, along with technological advancements, is essential.

“WE MUST UTILIZE HUMAN RESOURCES EFFECTIVELY”
Sharing critical insights during the conference, Atalay underlined the importance of adapting to the changing dynamics of the business world. “Today, companies are not only undergoing digital transformation but also fundamentally reshaping their work processes. One of the key dynamics of this transformation is the changing expectations of employees. Nowadays, employees seek not only a salary but also leadership vision and flexible working models. This new way of working enables employees to be more productive and motivated. Flexible working hours and hybrid work models allow for more efficient and sustainable work while improving work-life balance. It is crucial for companies to align with the spirit of this new era. Successfully navigating these changing dynamics and shaping the future requires effective management of not only technology but also human resources,” he said.

“Artificial Intelligence Enhances Companies’ Competitiveness”
Atalay emphasized the role of artificial intelligence in enhancing companies’ competitiveness. “Developments in AI open doors for companies of all sizes—not just tech giants—to increase their competitiveness. Investing in AI solutions is no longer optional but essential. Seizing this opportunity is a critical step toward future success. AI is a data-driven system, and Turkey’s vast and diverse data pools offer a golden opportunity to compete globally. When analyzed and harnessed with the right technologies, this data can help position Turkey more strongly in the global technology race. The power of data will be a key factor in new business models and opportunities, particularly in areas like AI and machine learning,” Atalay stated.
