Mr. Kurucan, born in 1960 in Ordu, completed his primary education in Ordu, secondary education in Bursa Mustafakemalpaşa Primary School, high school education in Çanakkale-Gökçeada Atatürk Teacher High School. He graduated from Istanbul Technical University Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in 1982. He studied his master in Eskişehir Osman Gazi University on gas turbines. Sedat Kurucan worked in Air Forces Command Eskişehir Air Craft Engine Service Factory for 6 years and in Eskişehir Turkish Aerospace Industries F16 Engine Factory for 11 years and in USA Military of Defence on Contract and Quality, he retired in 1999. He has acted in top management in Ihlas Holding Inc. subsidiaries since 1999 now he officiates as the Chairman of the Board at Ihlas Household Appliances Inc. Married, with two children, Kurucan speaks English and French. Furthermore, he officiates as the Chairman of the Board in Ihlas Marketing Inc., Chairman of the Board in Ihlas Mining Inc. Chairman of the Board in Detes Energy Production Inc. Chairman of the Board in Bicycle Marketing Industry and Commerce Inc., Chairman of the Board in Bisan Bicycle Moped Automotive Industry and Commerce Inc.
